We're not talking a small point-and-shoot either! And you forgot to the mention the crazy guy on the Spring water corridor asking us if we'd all pay a $10 'bicycling tax' to pay for a new Sellwood Bridge.

I watched him take pictures as he rode, and I still don’t believe that he can pull it off! Thanks for all of the great stories and pictures! Some friends invited me along to a live taping of "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" that's taking place here in November. I still don't get how you can bike and photograph at the same time (a more esoteric skill than walking and chewing gum!) but I'm glad you can. And isn't Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me absolutely awesome by podcast? Our NPR station runs it twice a week but I can never remember when. Now I don't have to! :)

Sounds like you had an amazing time. Thank you for the wonderful pics, and for taking us along on your trip.
