What an awesome retrospective and guide to the cache types. You've certainly been busy! I do love how you can go practically anywhere and find caches listed. There's an excellent Earthcache near Moab, but I didn't have time (or transportation) to check it out. Maybe next time!

By the way, I *love* the purple saying at the top of your post. :) And thanks for the pointer to letterboxing -- interesting (and lower-tech!) variation. I may explore. :)

Be honest...I assume your math error involved using the wrong information, rather than a Scout-type error involving a defective brain.

Great entry! The entry covers the aspects of this hobby very well! My daughter and I went out yesterday after I treated myself to premium membership. I could and should have done long before now but I figured Christmas was a good reason. Found one that was very well done! Ammo can under the ground in this kind of self built vault.. was covered in a wooded are with a light colored piece of carpet and it there was still snow covering it. We had almost given up and I said let's look just a little more when I found it.., was so fun... It is funny how we get satisfaction from finally finding those difficult ones, especially seeing we were just getting frustrated the second before we found it :)
I should hit 200 here soon.. next day ro two as I have 197... so anyway see you at the next meeting (Geocaching anonymous)

Yes, I think you are definitely at the geocache 'addict' level, Jim.

The coordination on the webcams could be simplified with a small script that saves the cams every 1-5 minutes. That way you wouldn't have to have someone watching you.
