    Frozen lake... this isn't Minnesota...

Okay, I’m officially tired of winter.

I’m afraid we’re just settling in here for the long haul. I’m not seeing much in the weather forecast that could be called “hopeful”.

I need a Christmas Shopping miracle about now.

Heh. First day of winter, and everything!
      Bundle up; we’re just gettin’started.

You know it is bad when you see notices that Solstice parties are being canceled.

Now that you mention it, I’ve seen very few mentions of the annual Freemont nude solstice parade. (Or is that summer only?)

      I’m sooooo jonesin’for a bike ride.

I’m also jonesing for a bike ride. I really regret never buying studded tires about now. I imagine tomorrow is going to be an icy hell, and no matter how I get to work – if I get work – it’s going to be unpleasant.

Per the Fremont Parade – it was I think two years ago, in a fit of solstice madness, that I rode across the Mercer Island East Channel Bridge topless. It wasn’t as cold as it is now, though – just windy and the lower 40s.

Would it help if I told you that on Monday it was -2 here with the windchill? :)

[FYI: -2 here is never normal]

      (Merry Christmas!)

      • @voxkev Let me know if you find an app. I used a python script (http://t.co/tTN5PlRq). For music, Dupin helps identify dupes. 08:41:07 AM January 28, 2012 in reply to voxkev ReplyRetweetFavorite
