[...] Hello Kitty bag Posted in December 28th, 2007 by jim in travel My roller bag has endured immeasurable abuse in its three continent, twelve-year service. The zipper pulls had fallen off on the cobblestones of Amsterdam1 in 1999. On the way to Chicago in 2001, the zippers’ attachment was fraying, often gunking up the toothy zipping mechanism. The wheels had been wobbly after an Austin trade show in 2005. Finally, on my most recent excursion, one of the wheels irreparably bent, heightening the travel fun. [...]

Kiri, the flight was perfect. Thanks! :D (It was just the setup that was the problem. I'm really glad I didn't take the bait; I got caught up on work while I was waiting.)

Geez! I guess my wishes for you getting a good flight home were in vain. Maddening! I'm glad you eventually did make it home, even if it was in the early-single-digits. :)

And I second your comments on the BART ticket machine. I've learned to put $10.30 on the ticket, so that I can get to SF and back without having to use the machine twice. But I was still foiled, this year, forgetting that the machines don't take Amex cards -- which they tell you AFTER you finish doing "-$1.00" and " $0.05" until you reach the right fare (because, of course, they start you at $20 no matter what) and try to print the final ticket. Sigh.
