If my site seems slower than usual, it's because I'm being deluged by a bunch of referral spammers hawking their link farms. At least they have a sense of humor about it and are referencing my
entry on referer spamming.
The origination sites and the web sites they're touting are hosted on various clients of a Dutch ISP bereft of an actual way of contacting them (as far as I can tell). I'm just blocking the entire bleeping 80.77.* network.
